For non-subscriber visitors, we do not collect sensitive or personally identifiable information (PII)—we don’t want or need to know anything about you personally because we don’t serve ads, nor do we sell or share data about our users (except as required by law).
For newsletter subscribers, we only collect enough information to administer your account and deliver the newsletter, and only for as long as you have an account on our site. We use Ghost.io to manage your account and Stripe to process your payment information.
We do collect basic, anonymous tracking information (browser version, country, city, pages visited, but not IP address or device ID) to understand our user base better and deliver relevant information to our visitors. We use Plausible.io to collect and manage this information.
If you want to block this data analytics collection, most browser script-blocking extensions will block it by default. But we appreciate those who leave it unblocked because it helps us serve you better.
We only use functional cookies to manage login, history and payment. We do not use tracking, social media, advertising cookies, or web beacons.
